Aubrey in Concert

For the Spring Music Festival Aubrey got to play in the concert hall at S.U.U. on a beautiful Steinway. You're not supposed to take pictures, but I turned the sounds off and broke the rules. How often do you get to see this?

Ashlyn and Aubrey played really well and both got Superior ratings for the seventh year in a row. Ashlyn got stuck in a classroom playing on an old upright, so I didn't break the rules to get a picture of her performance.

Baby got caught having a date with Ostrich. I'm not kidding, she was sitting at that little table just staring at the ostrich. I had to take a picture. Tigger and Bananas were hanging out too.

As the world turns. . .around Emily.

This first picture shows how Emily makes the puppies sit as part of her "class" and listen to her teach. A broader view shows how she sets all her dolls and stuffed animals in rows to teach them. She has the smartest toys ever.

She finally lost her first tooth. It took her so long to get it out. It was just flopping around in her mouth. I acted like I was going to floss her teeth and I just yanked it out. She didn't like that very much but when she realized it was actually out and had the dollar bill in her hand she was alright with the whole situation. (I like the little yellow bunny over her shoulder too).

Trav's Tenth Birthday

Trav was given the choice of a birthday party with friends or a fishing trip with Dad. After a few days of thinking, he decided on the fishing trip. They went to Lake Mead and caught 15 stripers.

I caught you a delicious bass.


I know, they're strange. But what did you expect?

It's a Major Award!

Aubrey won the drawing for the electric guitar at the orthodontist's office (Dr. Anderton rocks). I got her an amp and she's good to go.

What Trav and Emily do. . .

Trav made quite a few bucks selling our mini pumpkins. He's all about the least amount of work for the most amount of money.

Trav has been teaching himself to play the guitar. He has a really good ear for music.

Emily just likes to pretend the puppies are her children.
